I don’t think I will be doing anything this year for halloween – maybe I will be able to get my kids out to trick or treat.
It’s tragic really – I am a big Halloweenie. I think of all the fabulous antice of Halloweens past – from Come as your Favorite Dead Person parties to our own haunted house (we really scared a few people that night) to Henry David Ball’s in Philadelphia and all the great costumes! I even loved giving out candy – I always made the kids do tricks, what fun!
I am going to be the lady you think is way too old to be trick-or-treating. Look for me, I’ll be in a Alice (from Alice in Wonderland) costume and I’ll have a big bag of candy. I will most likely be eating fun-dip and will have a sugar-high.
Then I am going to a Haunted House at our mall with a few girlfriends and my boyfriend. Cheesy, but it’ll be fun. They want to do some "weegie" boards and stuff, but I don’t think I will.
Then in the morning, it will be my birthday, and I’ll be fat from the candy, but hey, at least t here is presents!
Well you know a lot of adults think that Halloween is just for kids. As members of AARP, I and my 80 year old friend are kids at heart. We will dress up and go trick-or-treating at the homes of people that we know!!
I wanta be a Pirate!! Got my wig and hat and all. Some adults are just so boring!!!
I’m taking my nieces and nephews to Fright Night at Six Flags Over Georgia. The bad part is that I live in Florida and my sister lives in Georgia and I agreed to baby sit them while she worked and that meant that I had to take them to Six Flags.
I have a party I’m going to on Saturday night also. I’ll be wearing the same cheerleading outfit. By the time Tuesday night rolls around, I think I’ll have spent more time dressed like this than in my regular clothes *laughing*
On Halloween, our family really gets into the spirit of things. My husband, myself and my 2 boys have a Graveyard Haunt on our property. We put up black iron fencing around the property with lit torches lining the way, and the graveyard entranceway with 2 tall stone pillars topped with gargoyles with cauldrons and flames, we have tombstones all over with creatures coming out of the ground, coffins, fog machines, sound effects, and a large stone crypt table at the end of the path where my husband (the Count of Mayhem) greets the trick or treaters. We built a tall black iron cage this year which my 16 year old son will stand in dressed as werewolf, and a remote control zombie that crawls across the ground, an undead woman dressed in a shredded white victorian dress rocking in a rocking chair in the middle of the graveyard with her possessed baby and a few other surprises along the path. There are owls, ravens, rats, 3-headed hell hounds and tons of other things. Yup, gonna be a busy day, but totally worth it. The trick or treaters love our house!
Halloween is an awesome time for you to be anyone you want to be for just one night. Like……..Cinderella, she was royalty for a night……untill she married the prince.

I have class that day, in college so it’s a night class.
The saterday before, I am attending a costume party (going as a soccer player, becouse my leaf Coneybear costum isn’t ready this year)
I might dress up, and head over to the theater where I work for some fun at some point of the day.
Here are some ideas:
